About the opportunity

This initiative, spearheaded by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), represents a decade-long dedication, involving a financial commitment of US$100 million. Its aim is to discover, educate, guide, and financially support 10,000 African entrepreneurs by the year 2024.

Participants selected for the programme will benefit from a comprehensive 12-week online training course, guidance from top-tier mentors, and a seed capital of US$5,000 to develop their business ideas. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to secure further investment. The programme also provides entrants with membership to the TEF's expansive network of startups. The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme embodies a significant $100 million pledge by the Elumelu family to foster the growth of 10,000 African entrepreneurs over a span of 10 years, through a combination of training, mentorship, and financial support.

All submissions for the programme must be made electronically via the  application platform. Applicants are required to fill out all the mandatory fields.
