Entreprenelle was launched in Cairo in 2015 and led by three young women. The purpose is to empower women in the job market through entrepreneurial awareness. Their first summit "She Can" was launched in 2015 bringing a number of successful women in business around Egypt and the Middle East through a competition for funding.
The annual event “She Can” aims to bridge the gender gap economically by educating, training and linking women to all the resources possible. It has impacted more than 10,000 women in 5 different governorates with more than 80 entrepreneurship workshops and 10 big entertaining educational events, and an online network with over 250,000 subscribers on different social media platforms.
The partners of Entreprenelle include UN Women, USAID, Facebook, Microsoft, Dell, Google, Injaz Egypt, MBC Group, British Council, Pepsico and The National Council for Women.
