As part of its commitment to promoting productive employment in Africa and the implementation of its Skills for Employment and Productivity in Africa (#SEPA) Action Plan within the framework of the #SustainableDevelopmentGoals and the African Union’s Agenda 2063, the African Development Bank is excited to announce the launch of the “Building pathways to sustainable growth - Strengthening TVET and productive sector linkages in Africa” report.
Produced jointly with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and funded by the Government of Japan, the study analyses the challenges of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems in meeting the demands of the labor market and people's aspirations.
The report serves as an essential instrument for the African Development Bank and the ILO in their joint interventions to promote youth #employment, support #investment decisions, and smoothen the transition of workers in several productive sectors.
